|I'm retired from the U.S Air Force and currently work as an electronics technician in Elmira, NY. I've been married for 35 years and have 2 grown children. We just celebrated the birth of our first grandchild, Jacob.|
My son, Scott, and I are trying to, slowly, document the oldest and most fragile headstones at Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads, NY before they crumble away. Way back when, a headstone was all some people left behind to tell the world they were here. I'd like for them not to be forgotten!

Fred, Thank You! It is a pleasure to have people like yourself and many others that give their time and money to provide for others. I am sure my wife will appreciate this photo! Since her MS has her unable to travel now and roam the cemeteries anymore, this is the best gift and will add to her spirit, THANK YOU.

I would like to add the photo of Louisa Quigley Craven's (# 103050056) headstone as well as her husband John (#103050525) to my family tree on Ancestry. She was my 6th cousin 2x removed, not close but still family.Permission for her portrait too. What a delight to see that.Thank you for doing the memorials. Are you related to her?

Sorry I forget the enter key doesn't take you down a line here but sends the message.
Look at the memorial for Reuben Holbrook at 96769936 and see if you'd like the challenge of again finding the Grave for Susannah Holbrook and Reuben Holbrook which I believe is a fieldstone beside her marker. If you do, a visit to the Historical Society in Tioga would be the best bet with maybe their files having a map to the location or maybe someone did take a picture of the marker and it's in the file.
The articles say they had quite a response but that was a long time ago.
Susannah is linked to this memorial
Thanks for at least considering this.
