The March 1, 1895 date is from Metro burial records. Before 1971, that date can be the death date, the interment date, or the purchase date of the burial site. If he died Feb. 23, it's entirely possible that inclement weather, uncooperative family, or a number of reasons could have delayed burial.
As to "unmarked" vs a photo of the stone, well, I probably took photos of all the Caswells in Lot 24, didn't see H.W., and wrote "unm" on my cemetery list.
I've posted 5,480 photos and have probably taken three times that many to get a decent one of each marker. Occasionally, I miss a beat.

Thank-you for posting Margaret's picture. She is the sister of our Gr. Grandfather Benjamin S. Johnson (Memorial# 109760744). Griffin and Jemima were their parents.
Thanks again, Constance
|family members||RE: Johnson|
Griffin (Memorial# 110250216)was married twice. First to Ruth and second to Jemima (Jemimah) Cox. Our linage comes from the second wife Jemimah and their son Pvt. Benjamin Schooler Johnson (Memorial# 109760744) We have placed most of what we know on Griffin's memorial. Not much is known about Ruth's children except for one James Johnson which we mentioned on Griffin's memorial page.
Take Care, Constance

Someone asked for this info, I can't remember who. Hoping it was you, since you found and posted the Rufus Lhamon photo.

Was checking to see your relation to Rufus Lhamon? You can email me at Jodi.email@example.com. I posted a photo of him on his Find A Grave web page.
Thank-you Jodi, how very nice of you!
For all that work you deserve an answer.
Rufus was one of the children of Margaret Schooler Johnson Lhamon & Abraham Lhamon. Abraham was the brother of Mariah (Maria) Lhamon who married Benjamin Johnson who then produced Mary Ann Johnson who married James Lee and produced Chancy Lee who married Martha J Hildreth and produced Roy Lee who married Beatrice Winebrenner who produced my father Robert who married my Mom who produced me. LOL
Gosh, We really aren't very closely related at all are we? I sponsored him out of respect for family. I have since, been more careful how many I will sponsor as it mounts up very quickly! Love Find A Grave, so more than happy to support it as much as I am able.
Have a Wonderful day, God Bless and Thank-you again.
I don't have Mable as his wife. I don't control Mable's memorial and I have asked the lady that does to unlink her. She has not done it. I gave requested at least 20 times. I didn't do the link so I can't remove it. You will have to contact Ms. Miller and request as I have done for her to remove the link.

Date corrected, thank you.
|Mike Dearbaugh||A friendly suggestion|
You might think about not cropping the photos down to just the name of the deceased. The photos can preserve the entire look of the monument. Gives the eye more to look at as well.
|Kandy J Kelly||Belated thank you|
A while back you had taken pictures of my gr gr grandfathers # 45982962 gravesite, I am just now getting around to doing his bio and wanted to thank you for your time and effort. You did an excellent job!
