I came to find someone.|
I stay because I care.
I think Find A Grave Contributors of all varieties, shapes and sizes are unbelievably amazing people who give of their time and other assets to help us connect everyone on this planet.
I stand in awe at all of you I have met along the way.
May the journey last as long as it takes.

|Joyce Nance-Woodcock||profile poem|
Lois, Your profile poem brings back so many memories of long ago. My mother-in-law always kept this poem with her and we use to tease her about it; sadly, that poem now pertains to me, as I live it every day. I guess my mother-in-law had the last laugh :-)
Thanks for sharing that and bringing back those memories! (OH! I already said that, didn't I?!!)
|Joyce Nance-Woodcock||Russell Elliott|
Thank you for the info on Russell, I have added it and also requested a headstone photo.
Have a safe holiday weekend.
|Lauren Marie Westgate Hargrave||William Mason Duncan Jr|
You sent me an email, however you did not provide an email address to respond to, so I will have to get in touch with you here. Thank you for pointing out my mix-up with William Mason Duncan Jr and the III. I have updated the information on the memorial. However, I will not be deleting the following "William enlisted in the United States Army as a Private First Class on 11 Dec 1940 and served in Tennessee 1st BN 196th Field Artillery until 7 Mar 1942 during World War II." as this information does pertain to him. Thanks. Lauren
I sent an edit Request for her last name to be moved from Maiden to Last Name. This way she sorts properly and can be found.

|Justin and Kaylen||John W. Rousseau|
are you related to John W. Rousseau, # 106209320? He married my great aunt Mabel Irene Smith in Kansas City on 11 Dec 1942. I do not know if they had any children together or not, but they eventually divorced and John later married Pauline M. Higgins. Would love to exchange info. Thanks for posting the photos of him.
Justin L. Smith
|Jim Ferris||Annie Tipton|
Links made as requested and will gladly transfer if related.
|John Rush||Mary Cole|
|Rita Balentine Hogan||William Rousseau|
Thanks for the info. Where is William Rousseau buried? I would like to link him and wife Elizabeth to his daughter, Mary Hogan.
|Richard Broughton||RE: Rousseau's in Maple Hill Cemetery|
You are very welcome. Sorry I could not find Marie Rousseau's marker. Maple Hill's burial index shows she is buried to the right of Conrad. However as you can see in the photo there is no marker for her. Take care.
|JoAnn HAGANS Harris||Catherine Elizabeth Cromartie|
I appreciate her first name, birth info, and parental links.
Keep up the good work!
