Bio and Links
Bio Photo This is a pretty nice site don't you agree? Headstones may not always be 100% correct but it is a great foundation for genealogy work and history with migration information included. A nice start for younger people that reach the age when they begin to wonder who they are. For those that are still among us and grieving over loss they can remember and share, visitors can understand these losses and have mostly unsaid sympathy for the family, this is normal.
I recently retired after over 41 years with IBM. IBM, a company synonymous with computing a few years back is becoming a relic acronym with today's mobile computing environment. Prior to IBM was four years in the Marines celebrating my 21st birthday in DaNang, some of my best friends today came from those times. Thank you for visiting I wish you good research results and please contribute what you can. Wayne

Melba Maloney
Hi, thanks for the info on this memorial. I have transferred it to you as I am related not to Melba but rather William's other wife. You can deal with the other contributor, I did not want to bother transferring it there because it irks me when people clearly use info I have put in (but not bother to contact me or try to make a link to a spouse) then slam me as that contributor did in the memorial!!! Thanks again, I appreciate your forthright approach!!

That I do!
Was working on a family tree for an actuary who works at my husband's place. I do need to call and get that tree sent to the family.

RE: Stine Surname
Interesting, I found a Daniel Stine who fits that description enlisting in 1855 age 21 who is from Jonestown, Lebanon, PA which is where my GGGrandfather was born. Why don't we connect via email? My email is

RE: Stine Surname
Sorry, Wayne, I'm not going to be any help, I'm afraid. There were a lot of Stein/Stine families in Lebanon. Many of them, but probably not all, were of common descent dating to a large migration in middle of the 1700s. There is some confusion about the lines, so I gave up trying to document them all except as needed to establish my own line and rule out others. I don't have any Daniels, but it was a common name, as was Henry. Many stayed in the same area; those who left followed a more westerly (or southerly) pattern of migration; I don't have any in my tree who went to New York, so don't even have that clue to follow for you. I couldn't find a Daniel with the DOB you gave; what is the source for him?

RE: McCutchan Family-Tipton Cemetery OK
You are very welcome. So glad I could help and thank you so much for letting me know about Bonnie. I will see if I can unlink her..I don't usually do that unless I am absolute sure but sometimes I get caught up and will. I'm so glad that you let me know.

Thank you again, Staci

McCutchan Family-Tipton Cemetery OK
I was at the Tipton cemetery yesterday and was able to find the family members that you requested a picture for. The type of rock that their headstone/monument is made of is very hard to read many times and this is one of those times. From what I have seen all the times out taking pictures and visiting cemeteries, whether it has to do with age, elements, type of rock/stone that is used or what..being able to clearly read on the marker can be very difficult.

I was able to find their markers and can tell you 100% that they are the markers but they did not photograph well. I tried several different angles to take the pictures, hoping that a shadow would be cast that would help the letters to be seen but it just did not turn out like I would have liked.

The time of day, the age and condition of the headstone/marker and the trees that were in the cemetery I feel may have all contributed to me not being able to get a picture that I feel is worthy. I will upload the pictures to the memorial so that something is there but I wanted to let you know that I plan on going back over there this weekend to spend some time and take some more pictures. I will do my best to take a better quality picture for you and for their memorials. By the way, their daughter was also buried next to them. I am adding a memorial for her and if you would like, I would be happy to transfer her to you.

Thank you, Staci

Wayne, the links to the family bios were sent to me for connection. There is also a family tree on ancestry that lists the links.
