Quite honestly, he was one of my easiest finds as the veterans in that section are buried according to death date. THAT made it a breeze! So glad I could help wth a veteran who was so far from his home!

RE: Thank you
You're very welcome. Do you know anything about William Calkins, who is buried in the Sprague family lot? Brother-in-law, perhaps?

Hi Kenneth,
I've added the others on the Yancar headstone at Calvary Cemetery and linked them. Please add your photo to the 2 Jacobs on the stone.

Clarence A Baxter
Hi Kenneth,

Thank you for your time and effort in trying to fulfill my request for Clarence A. Baxter. I called the Mentor office today and confirmed that he is buried in Section 4 Lot 50 Grave 5. I'll make a note that his grave is unmarked.

As for the other Baxter's, no thanks. Clarence was the husband of a distant cousin, and I'm not following his family line.

RE: Pine Grove
Thanks for the tip - Pine Grove is the cemetery here that I've done the least amount of work in, so this will definitely help moving forward. I downloaded the maps and they did help pinpoint the Hayden lot. Photos will be up this evening.

RE: Buttram
Request completed. Just a FYI that you can put parent links in through Edit tab in upper right hand corner. This makes it easier for everyone. Thanks.

I don't know if you've ever been to that graveyard, but there are actually quite a few Giveen gravestones. I took photos of all the stones that were legible (almost half weren't). If you want any more images, please let me know. Laurie
PS Names of some are: Speer (Spear), Melcher, Simpson,Gatchell,Ransom, Heath, Stone, Stanwood, Bradbury, Dunlap, Allison, Hunt, Coombs, Bowker, Feinnes, Hunt, Orr, and Clark.
