M. Todd Cathey was raised in Dickson County, Tennessee. He has been a student of the American Civil War for over thirty years. Growing up in Middle Tennessee, his interest in the Civil War was developed at an early age when learning of several ancestors who were private soldiers in the 11th Tennessee Infantry. His primary area of interest is the common soldier in the Western Theater, including research on the 11th and 49th Tennessee Infantry Regiments. He is the editor or author of several books focusing on the Confederate Army of Tennessee. Cathey holds several advanced degrees, including two doctorates.|

Sorry, I have no Idea. Do you have any idea what part of Humphreys County Greenberry lived in?

Dr. Cathey, I do not know if there is a stone or not. After going back and checking the memorial, I believe two memorials have gotten merged for Margaret. I have not personally walked that cemetery as I have a few others in Dickson county.
I do not know if Susan Gore who is the Archivist for the Cumberland Presbyterian Church has more information or not. She created the original memorials. [8207 Traditional Place

I do know that Margaret Larkins' family were quite strong Cumberland Presbyterians. Margaret's Grand Uncle, Rev. Samuel McAdow, was one of the founders. I'm assuming that the McNeillys didn't leave the Main line Presbyterian Church.
I'm sorry that I could not be of more help. From the sources that I have read, Rev. McNeilly had a fascinating life.

My sister and I believe we might be related through the Elias Cathey line. Please contact one of us through our e-mails at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Elias Cathey we are related to would be our line:
Elias Cathey's daughter Margaret Cathey was married to James Hawk. James Hawk and Margaret Cathey are our fourth great-grand-parents.
Please respond and let us know if we are on the right path. Thank you!

I located a death certificate for Rev. McNeilly. He died in 1922 and was buried in Mt. Olivet with his wife, children & other relatives. I've added a memorial for him and the others I found.
