First off, if you need one of my pictures feel free to use it, to me it seems useless to copyright a grave photo.

I take pictures of graves voluntarily to give back, and as my thanks to those who have assisted me in my genealogy searches both locally and internationally.

I live in Honolulu and will help those who ask. I am pretty good in doing research and dont mind helping others.

I will gladly transfer memorials upon reqiest

RE: Anton Goetzman

I have transferred the memorial to you. In future to make it easier for anyone to make a transfer you might want to provide the memorial # and your Find A Grave #. Just sayin.

Catherine Westcott #149872292
Hi Taffy. I just found your memorial on my 3rd GGM Catherine Westcott as well as memorials for her children Charles, Manoah, and Stephen H. at Kelso Cemetery. I had not previously found death dates or sources for those individuals although most family trees have Catherine dying in 1888 with no sources. As you are in Honolulu, were you previously in Kaukana, Wisconsin or had you visited or lived there? I am in Washington State and unlikely to visit Wisconsin. I just would like to know whether you personally documented the dates of death and the inscriptions that state that age in years, months, and days? Verification of these dates are of great value to me and I appreciate your assistance.
Thank you,
Jack Brown

Seth H Childs

I have connected him to his dear wife, Susan Lavina Childs, who died on their farm near Sodaville, Linn, Oregon. Seth went on a trip back east and died while visiting there. His wife may have paid for his grave marker. While her grave marker has a space that was never filled by her husband's death so far away.

Please, if there are old records that could provide information about his death. Please, respond by trying to locate a death certificate, or, other evidence of his death date and place. Newspaper article, etc.

Thank you, Martin Burrell

Hi - I saw that you posted a photo to this memorial page that was marked, "Kaukauna Area Historical Society Cemetery photo Collection". I was wondering if you have permission to snag their photo and post it to Find a Grave? Most people / groups do not appreciate that and I understand it is against the guidelines outlined by Find a Grave. Also, I had posted a relatively good photo on the memorial page already. Just wondering. . . . .

Hi - I saw your edits and was hoping you would be able to provide your source of information. I noticed that you have also included a marker transcription that is incorrect - and I will decline that edit. I appreciate any info you could reply to me with as I have not been able to locate exact info. Thanks!

RE: Mroczek
No. At least not that we could read. It mainly said 'Familia of Tomas Mroczek. That would make you think that there were more family there or possibly more small stones but there isn't anything. That's a very old cemetery and many of the graves are illegible. If you email the person who listed the graves she might know more.

Roman Korbal
Hi Taffy,
Roman Korbal was cremated, and he is located in Lot #5 of the CRM section. I took the cemetery manager out to the site of Roman Korbal's interment, and we verified that there is no marker. There IS a marker on the lot (Lot #5). But, it is not for Roman Korbal. On the ground, the markers look like:

Lot 4 Lot 5 Lot 6
Mr. Hubert Mrs Dudeck Mr Dudeck
Mrs. Hubert

What the cemetery manager guesses happened is that there was no marker on Roman's lot, then later the wife of the person in the adjacent lot (Lot 6-Dudeck) passed. SInce Lot 6 already had the marker for the husband, the marker installer incorrectly assumed that he should install the marker on Lot 5, instead of just below the existing marker on Lot 6. So, the markers SHOULD have looked like:

Lot 4 Lot 5 Lot 6
Mr. Hubert Mr Dudeck
Mrs. Hubert Mrs Dudeck

I have a picture of this if you want it. But, of course, it does not show Roman Korbal.
Sorry I couldn't get you a picture :-(
