transfer request
sorry it took so long, but it am just getting back to suggest a corrections. My 95 year old mother had a bad fall the day before you sent the request. She is now out of he hospital and rehab, but findagrave was low on priority during the back and forth to hospitals, consultations with doctors, social workers. Most places did not have wi-fi, so hours sitting around those places could not be productive. Sorry again.

Hi Rod, Hope you are having a good day. Just wanted to say thank you for trying to obtain a photo of Henry Leach's headstone. I appreciate the effort that you made to do so. Sometimes things are what they are. Have a very good weekend. Margaret

so, as is true of 99% of Bedford families, we are distant cousins.

RE: Ritchie / Ritchey
Thanks Rod, I hope to start working on Ancestry.com again in January or February but I just remembered my mom has a copy of the Ritchie Family book. It was put together quite a while back but maybe there's something in there. Do you have a copy? I can't even remember who did it but I'll pick it up tomorrow when I'm as my mom's for Christmas. I haven't studied the Ritchie side of the family very much but my branch is as follows:

Anna Bell Ritchie West (g. grandmother), Jacob Houk Ritchie (3rd great grandfather), John Ritchie (4th great grandfather), Jacob Ritchie (5th great grandfather), Isaac Ritchey or Ritchie (6th great grandfather), and Philip Rutschly or Ritchie, 1708-abt. 1780, (7th great grandfather).

Merry Christmas!

Hi Rod,

I don't know where Phillip is buried at this time. I am just learning about the Ritchie family myself so if it's not on my family tree, I haven't found it yet. :) Please keep in touch and maybe one of us will figure it out one of these days.

Hi Rod,

My Find A Grave setup is confusing now, I don't enter many relatives these days, I was entering a lot more relatives two years ago. I am in the process of setting up another Find A Grave account and transferring the memorials of relatives and friends to that account. Once the process is complete I will then update the bio on my main account to reflect the fact that (at that point in time) I am not related to any of those memorials I maintain. It is just too confusing now having the relatives mixed up with so many nonrelatives.

I am descended from a branch of the Millers who left Pennsylvania and moved to Kansas in the 1860s. I will email you later with more details on my line.

Rebecca Jane Zook
Rod, It appeared to me that Rebecca Jane was the first name with Hoover the middle name, her mother's maiden name, and last name Zook. I could not find my source with a quick search.
