Louisa Alice "Lula" Underwood Tindel
It was my understanding that she died of CANCER--either cervical or ovarian. I used to have the bill for her operation, hospitalization from her daughter, my mom Alice. And she was NEVER referred to as Lula! But of course I only grew up with this family, heard all the stories, knew most of them but of course, I could never know them as you do, the "expert" who never met them.
You know nothing of MY family Bub! They would not like you!

RE: James Johnson
David I was able to send a two pictures to you but I think it may have been too large because I got a reply back that it could not be sent, so I will try again. David here are two photos-hard to see, in a shaded area of the cemetery and the stone is pitted so difficult to see the exact numbers. I actually passed it twice before the maintenance worker in the cemetery found it. He has worked the cemetery for years and knew the plot location. I had to go to the security office who then took your information to the main office where they verified that he was buried there and that it was the correct location. Then I followed security out to the cemetery where they unlocked the gate and sat in his truck and waited till I wAs done. Fortunately Ralph the maintenance worker came out and his was not in a hurry for me to try and get a decent picture. I also took a picture with my camera that I will also send you- having some issues with my computer, and wanted to get at least these to you. Inscription gave his name as no middle name. Line two is"Lodge-1928"
Third line is 1907-1990
Hope it helps

RE: James Johnson
David, I found the cemetery-it is actually in Magnolia Cemetery but the gate is locked and a phone number to call to enter-so as soon as I hear back from the message I left Hopefully I will be able to run out and get you a picture! Is a small cemetery, so even if the place you listed is not quite it don't think it will be a problem to look around
Glad I could help-or wait till I get the picture to say that!!
