I am also linked with history of the Des Plaines Methodist Camp Ground in Illinois (founded 1860). Therefore I'm also interested in:
Burlingame
Holton
Moody (D.L.)
Hemenway (Garrett Bible Institute)
Hemingway (A.T. - Ernest's grandfather)
Willard (Frances E.)
Revell (Fleming H.)
and any other family connected with the Camp Meeting in Des Plaines (1860-present)

Hi,

If you wrote at my blog, I didn't get it.

Anyways, please drop a line to my gmail (tankerraid) if you so desire. I have a transcription of a family bible page that provides corroboration of his middle name and birthdate of 20 January 1844.

As for corroborating evidence linking this man to the family of Robert May and Ann Rowe, well, there is more than I can elucidate in any email.

Received your "correction" regarding this monument marker. Are you related to the family?

RE: Fred Holton
Sorry about that! Of course I remember and my husband and I were just at the cemetery on Saturday. You can't access your own posted photos after a certain number have been posted, for some reason. I don't have additional information about Fred, but will do a search anytime I have the opportunity in any database I can access.

And . . . you're very welcome! Glad to provide the photos.

Welcome to Find A Grave!!

If you are in contact with Barry, then he should be able to help you more than I. He's one of the cousins I mentioned previously. We are fairly distant cousins but ironically we live in the same town and collaborate frequently.

It seems like everyone is publishing these days. I've published a couple of books about the other side of my family. Another cousin has published a children's book about the Burlingames. Good luck with the book.

Do you have a copy of her book? I have two cousins who have a copy with one chapter missing. There is one handwritten copy as well.
You should be aware that there are errors in the book.

I'm not sure which history by Hinman you're talking about, but if you're talking about the Hinman history by Barry Hinman, that's still a work in progress.

I can't help you with Holton family history since Susan is the only Holton in my family tree. Susan's sister Betsy Burlingame Hinman is my great great grandmother.

If you use the link to Joel Burlingame on Susan's memorial you can find your way to a lot of Burlingame and Angell history. Just keep linking from page to page.

Hi,

If you would like specific information I'll answer what I can, and consult with my cousins if I don't know the answer.

If you have information that you think should be included on her memorial let me know and I'll add it and give you credit as the source.

Thanks for contacting me.

RE: Fred Holton
Hello, Can you please refresh my feeble memory, or send me a link to the memorial where I posted the marker(s)? Thank you. Loretta
