Bio Photo Hello!
Thanks for stopping by!

I began my interest in genealogy through an 11th grade psychology class project. We had to do a family tree, complete with photos and an interview with the oldest living member of our family. I made an A+ on my project and that began a life long love of family history.

My research includes the following surnames: Amos, Fort, Ivey, Weaver, Williams, Tingle, Smith, Sutton, Parker, Wise, Mackey, Lindsey, Hoard, Hatcher, Harrison, Taylor, Medlock, Phinazee, Brooks, Nelson, McCallum, and others just to name a few. Need help? Contact me! Got information to offer? Contact me!

If you are a family member of a memorial I created and I am NOT related, I will be HAPPY to transfer the memorial to you. Please send your request using the edit button! I try to treat each memorial I create as if it were for my own Father or Mother; researching it, documenting it to the best of my ability until a "real family member" comes along to request the transfer. After all, everyone who has a memorial was SOMEONE to SOMEBODY.

If you find your name listed as a survivor in an obituary I have posted and would like your name removed, just ask. It will be removed promptly. I think obituaries add a lot of genealogical information that if not captured may be lost (or at best, difficult to locate again). Besides if a newspaper or funeral home has already published a name in an obituary, I think your anonymity is already shot- lol!

Edits: While I would love to work full time for Find A Grave, I do have a real job that pays the bills. There are times when I start a memorial and my "real job" takes me away. If you find missing information it is probably because I have not had the opportunity to complete the memorial. All incomplete memorials are placed in my "all incomplete" virtual cemetery until they are complete.

Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Ephesians 4:31-32

"I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do, or any kindness or abilities that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer it or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again." William Penn

Kindness gains you much, anger and hostility may get you IGNORED! I'm here to make friends, not enemies.

Happy hunting! May God bless your socks off!

I totally agree with you regarding the posting of obituaries. This is just another way for researchers to verify their information. Thanks for doing such a great job.

Thank you for leaving flowers on his memorial; it means so much to me. All my life I heard about his military service and his sacrifice. My Grandmother never, ever forgot him and neither will I. Thanks again.

Nancy & Sybil Cunningham
Thanks for letting me know I had a duplicate of Nancy and a Special thanks for the obit of Sybil.
We aren't related to them that I am aware of at this moment, brain tired tonight. I do love to do a good job and put as much information on as I can find. It takes time and sometimes there are mistakes. Thanks again. Sorry it took a while to take care of it.
