|If other contributors would like any of my photos placed on their memorials deleted so photographs and other important information can be added, please let me know and I will be happy to delete .|
I enjoy adding personal information in the bio area. I enjoy listing veterans of the "War of 1812" and "Civil War" and early pioneers of the United States.
I always try to be respectful of other contributors work. If you find I have made a duplicate please let me know. I strive to be accurate. To me it's all about quality not quantity. I see each memorial as a person, not a number.
If you would like to contact me privately , please use the edit button to leave a note or leave a message to contact you... I give my e-mail when I feel it is appropriate.

Thanks for adding the wonderful photograph to his memorial.
I am not related but very much interested in his dental career.

Thanks for the transfers. Wonderful. I have added info to your pages and deleted mine so the photos would remain. Don't know how I had missed those in Hollansburg since all the Paynes are there too.

Hello, I see you have posted a Civil War era picture of Cornelius O'Brien on Find A Grave. There is a slight glare on the picture. Do you have the original? It is a really cool pic. Thanks, Ed Mann

|Anonymous||Pvt Obadiah Hill|
Hi, I was researching a possible ancestor Obadiah Hill and came across his grave with a short bio.
Can you let me know where this information was found? If he is an ancestor I can only find 6 of his children and it says here that he has ten. Can you point me in the right direction to where I can find more information?
Sep. 11, 1796
Death: Jan. 1, 1883
Obadiah was born in MD. When he was about nine years old he was bound out to a weaver. The weaver died when Obadiah was about 19 years of age. He was free but voluntarily bound himself in the same trade for three more years.. He next wagoned for ten years. Later he went west and first stopped and lived in Montgomery county. Then he moved to Preble County where he farmed for about 18 years. He purchased 160 acres in Preble CO. He improved it and sold it for a large profit. He then bought land in Darke Co. In 1876 he purchased a residence property in New Madison Ohio. He married Eliza Fisher who was also a native of Maryland in 1821. They were the parents of ten children.
Obadiah served in the WAR OF 1812 3 Regt. Capt. John McNeals' CO.
Happy to transfer to you. :)B
