Bio and Links
To the best of my research, my gr-gr grandfather, Josiah M. Wesson was the first Wesson to settle in Jacksons Gap in 1853-54.

My mother's family were Taylors who came from Meriwether County, Georgia.

I have come to find out that if your family was in Tallapoosa, Elmore or Coosa counties since the 1830's, then we are probably double step third first cousins in-law.

I started out in 1997 researching my Wesson line, but quickly branched out to the many families that intermarried with mine.

Wesson Family
Yes Tom we may be "double step third first cousins in-laws" Ada Wesson and my aunt Aldie Grier married into the Paravicini family. My Grier family came here to Autauga Co in 1823 and some moved to Coosa Co later. Can you tell me if Ada is still living or has she passed on. I am waiting to hear from daughter Debbie but nothing as of yet.

Hi Tom,

You sent me the following edit.
"-------------------------
Dana,

Charlotte Hancock was Charlotte TEMPLE GRAHAM, born Tallapoosa County, Alabama
and died in Alexander City, Tallapoosa County, Alabama.

While she is not my ancestor, she is in the Graham lineage of my 4th Gr
Grandparents.

Would you please update her memorial to reflect this information.

Thanks,

Tom Wesson"

Where does the Graham name come in? Both she and her husband died the same day and it says Charlotte Hancock on her headstone. Temple is her maiden name correct?
