2Lt Arthur C Rutter
2Lt Arthur C Rutter was a crewmember on board of a B-25 medium bomber. Lt Rutter belonged to the 434 Bomb Squadron, 12th Bomb Group. Lt Rutter was killed in his B-25, when it struck the slope of Mount Etna in Sicily. The plane - tailnumber 41-29684 - exploded on impact, causing the death of the entire crew. It was 20:30 hrs on 16 October 1943.

The crew was buried in the temporary American GELA Cemetery in Gela. Lt Rutter was buried in grave I-93-1114 on 19 October 1943.

After the war his remains were repatriated and buried in the bronswood Cemetery in Oak Brook, Illinois.

I am writing a book about this temporary cemetery and want to ask your permission to use the picture you took of his grave and placed on findagrave.com. Some 1,200 men and women were buried in this temporary cemetery

Of course you will be credited and notified when the book is finished.

What name can I use for the credit

Nelson Thomas
I noticed that you have posted a photo and memorial for Corpl Nelson Thomas. His name is actually Corpl Thomas Nelson, a veteran of the Civil War, Colored Union Troops, enlisted in Rock County, Wisconsin and died in Hinsdale, IL in 1911. I am in the process of writing his story. Would you care to change his name (transpose)? His birth year was 1837, and he passed away in 1911. Thank you.
