I live in Gowanda, New York. I am retired and love genealogy. My goal is to get all my family members on this site up to par with accurate information.|
Feel free to use my photos. They are there so you can identify with them.
I am the daughter of Marion Eugene Whipple and Thelma Ames Whipple.
I am looking for ALICE BUDD WHIPPLE. She was last seen on 1892 NY State census in South Valley, NY.

|Rich Vance||Re: Donald Ames|
Thanks for the info on his parents. Links are done.
Did you know you can now input the parent links directly on the Edit tab? Just choose the second item on the list; "Relationship (parent and spouse links)" instead of "Suggest any other correction or addition". ^_^
When you do it that way, the edit will show a number indicating pending edits on the other user's Profile page Edits tab and all they need to do is review it and choose accept or decline; and the edits are done automagically without having to copy or key in the link memorial numbers. How cool is that, eh?
The only time we need to use "other" is for bio additions, transfer requests, or duplicate notifications. Find-a-Grave is evolving and things are getting easier.
If you see a number on the Edits tab at the top of your own Profile page, that means someone else has sent an edit request to you. If you ignore it for longer than 21 days, the edit will be accepted automatically by Find-a-Grave.
Wishing all the best for you and your family.

I have been trying to locate death record of my GGrand Aunt Bertha La Croix Ames. She was born in Chautauqua, New York in July of 1872. I believe she was married to George in 1896. The last I find her she is with him, and their son in 1910. Have you heard anything about his wife Bertha? Thanks for any information you might have. Michele
I am researching my wife's family who is a descent of the Post family who ended up near Booneville, NY.
Would like to share my research with you would do the same? Please feel free to contact me via-email at "firstname.lastname@example.org

many trees om Ancestry.com have Ora Ellsworth Ames b. 27 Mar 1880 as the son of George E Ames and Alice E Arnold. However George and Alice were married on 19 Nov 1880. There is no indication that Alice had a child out of wedlock. Also another son is given as Arthur Elton Ames b. 1 Oct 1881. Possible... but I fear 2 families have been confused. There are also an infant son Ames b&d 1882 and an Alice Ames b&d 1883. Can you help clarify this confusion?

Emma Peterson was a aunt to my grandfather and a 2nd cousin to my Grandmother. This family line is so intertwined it make my head spin. I have my grandmother family which I thought her grandmother had written the older information in but a relative sent me a letter written by her grandmother and the writing is not even close so it had to be written by her great grandparent. If you want I can share want information I have collected. My email is email@example.com

I would be glad to transfer this memorial to you to maintain. We have been having a cemetery cleanup on the 2nd Sunday of August and I took some photos of some stones and put on Find A Grave. Thanks for the info.
