Thank-you for the lovely photo of Cora E. Hall Warfel. She had been missing from our family for over 75 years, and you brought her home. You are leading an exemplary life of generosity, and you are an inspiration to all. Gratitude.

|Carol||RE: Sophia Cogswell|
Thanks. Yes, I think we are related, but, oddly, I was looking for another Sophia Blystone, my 4th great-grandmother, when I came across your Sophia. My Sophia was born about five years earlier than yours, but also in Pennsylvania, and she would also likely have been a widow at some point, because her first husband, Levi Conwell/Connell, was quite a bit older than she. I was hopeful that the Sophias were one and the same, particularly given the Cogswell/Conwell similarity and the fact that at least one of Levi and Sophia's children relocated to Kansas. To top it off, a Levi L.(?) Conwell ?-1860 is buried in Pleasant View Cemetery in Oskaloosa, Kansas, also in Jefferson County.
The Sophias appeared separately, however, in different states and with different families, in the 1850 and 1860 censuses. I would guess that they were cousins who were named for the same person. Blystone is a made-up name, by the way, the Anglicized version of the German Bleistein, and the Coles could also have been related, since Reason Conwell, who is thought to have been Levi Conwell's son by his first marriage, was married to an Elizabeth Coil. Some of her family members varied Coil to Kyle or Cole.
I will let you know if I find a definite relationship between the Sophias or who their namesake, if any, was.

Hi, Shirley, the photo of the gravestone you added to Melvin Widman's memorial is not his gravestone, it is the gravestone of Carl and Ruth Kneisel. I figured you click the wrong photo when you put it on the memorial, if you have the gravestone photo, please, add it to his Find A Grave Memorial# 100748342
Thank you, Dawna Budd

I was getting around to make that request too, so it's a good thing you did. This branch of the family has many, many descendants. It would be hard to do this all at once.

You are amazing. I didn't even have the plot numbers for any of the Archer Family but you found all of them that I asked for anyway. I was waiting to hear back from the cemetery caretaker to add the plot number but you found them all on your own.
Thank you. Now we can order death certificates for some of them.
