Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am researching my family history for the following surnames: Hughes, Breland, Peirce, Wilson and Doughty. My ultimate goal is to trace my Hughes and Breland lines back to Europe.

Relation to Auvin Hughes
Hi Tom, Are you related to Auvin James Hughes
(July 28, 1914 - November 18, 2013) ? He was my grandmothers younger brother. My grandmother was Floy Hughes Patterson. Thanks, John

Grogan Family at St. Mary's in Streator, IL
Hi! I have posted photos for John and Bridget Grogan. There are no names or dates on the monument, but this is the only unmarked Grogan grave marker.

Also there:

1. John J. Grogan, January 28, 1940
2. Mary Grogan, 1846 - 1933

I searched the entire cemetery today, and with the exception of a few unreadable grave markers, these are all of the Grogan graves I could find.

If you create memorials for John & Mary, please add a photo request and I will post the photos that I took today.

RE: Willa Lillian Murray Breland
"I wonder why there is no marker for her there?"

Hi, Tom:

If you use the link above and search the database for section 2 and lot 34, you will see that the
funderal director was in Columbus. Columbus is about
50 miles to the East of Dayton/Kettering. Of the other 2 burials, 1 was from Massachusetts and the other unknown. One may assume that the distance
had something to do with a marker never being

I recommend searching Columbus, Franklin County,
Ohio, for information on Willa Breland.

I have transferred your aunt to you since I am not related. If you have other relatives at Memorial Park that I manage, let me know and I will be happy to transfer.

I found a Robert Peirce Breland beside the two Brelands for whom you requested marker photos. I created Memorial# 109550973 for him and will gladly transfer it to you. Just send me a request and it's yours.

RE: Cicero M. Breland
Thank you!

I am also related to the Brelands but have not researched them much. I hit the brick wall.
