Hi,
The Gordon County Georgia heritage book has that Phoebe Rebecca Dickey was James and Mary's daughter. Phoebe married Myers Cochran. Their daughter Sarah Cochran married Thomas S. Holmes in Gordon Co. Sarah is my great grandmother. So Phoebe would be my gg gm and Mary my ggg gm. I am just starting to research the Dickey lineage and would be interested in sharing information.

The V.Z. Historical has a web page where I found an obit for Buchannan, listing his children and says his father was J.D.G. Adrian who would be Andrew's father also. Frontier Red Hill, V.Z. has a John D. Adrian 1815-1887. Can't verify if this is whom we seek but thought you might be interested.

Great! Apparently someone in your family has some info we would be interested in. Buchannans great granddaughter (age 90) is our best source and we're working to locate his children. Her memory is good and very helpful. Anything you can pass on to us would be appreciated!

Hi Laura,
Buchannan Breckenridge Adrian is my wife's great-grandfather on her Dad's side. His wife is Mary Ellen Davidson Adrian. There are Adrians in Frontier Red Hill, Van Zandt Co. Tx. and Holly Springs, Van Zandt. I don't know anyone researching this family and can't get past Buchannan.
