 | RE: Miles Standish Hi, You wrote: I am a new find a grave member. I found records of my Grandma Minnie Mauzey (Newlin). When Miles Standish came here from England he brought his servent and told him to go ahead and settle here. The Clark (e) settled in Richmond, Virginia. My response: Miles Standish settled in Massachusetts, and other than a short trip back to London, never moved out of Mass. It is unlikely his servant would move to Virginia, as it was just as primative an area as Massachusetts, although I do not discount the possibility of this happening late in Clarke's life. I would suggest you contact the Mayflower Society, who has published a series of genealogy books on each founder, and goes out 5 generations, each book is well researched and documented, and will give you possible answers that you seek. The books are available through most LDS Libraries free of charge (you can only use them in the library - no check out allowed), or you can order them from the Mayflower Society. It is a great way to quickly find answers if you know who your Mayflower ancestor was.
Best wishes,
Morgan
