Aren't those SS application records great. I have found parents of so many that I couldn't find on census with those new records. Texas and Tennessee have a lot of their death certificates on Ancestry now that gives parents and burial locations. They don't always include spouses names which would be great info too.
As for the 6 memorials you have, the person that created them transferred them to you because they saw you notes on the "Flower" entry and knew you were related. Now you can add links if they haven't been made and write a bio about them.
I create the memorials in hopes that a family member will find their relatives; if they want to take over management of the memorial, that is great. You don't have to be in the area, you can request headstone photograph. I was taking a lot of headstone photograph but my old computer died and the program to resize the pictures died with it. If I didn't have my parents to take care of I would be out in the cemeteries every day. Marsha
Hello. I am wondering what your relationship is to Nellie Sanford? She is my great great great grandmother on my dad's side of the family. Would you be willing to exchange some information on the Sanfords? Thank you!!

Hi Rusty, Thanks for the dates on Mattie. Where did you find the death date? Ancestry has been adding a lot of info but I have so many memorials, it is hard to check on them all. If you see any of your family that you want to maintain, let me know and I will transfer the memorials to you. Use the edit tab as I check it daily.

Thank you for your help with Audie info.
In regard to you message that Nancy M HUTCHENS is not the spouse of Andy as stated, she is indeed the spouse of this Andy, they were my Grandmother's grandparents. I thought that I had found him in Georgia with Nathan L and Mary DIXON HOLT HUTCHENS, but this is not the case. Their Andy passed 16 February 1872 in Tishomingo Co., Ms and his brother, Nathan, came forward to take charge of his family and estate with children listed as William Bone, James Nathan, Mary Amelia and sister in law Mrs. Amelia PRICE. My Andrew died 18 February 1907 in Prentiss Co., Ms and he was married to Nancy MARTIN and they are listed on the 1870 census with Robin, Tyrannis (Tiny), and John M, the first 3 of 12 children.

I deleted Annie's memorial.The one that I posted in Jones Grave Yard.
I have been lost since the Memphis Funeral Home called me and said that I was supposed to be in Memphis to conduct her funeral.
John's funeral ran a little smoother.

Thank you for the info, too. Daphene's number is 662-728-7549. I went to see her and we walked over to the cemetery for me to photograph the family headstones. I know she would love to hear from you. Marsha
|Marsha Holder||Maskell Ervin & Ione Hutchens|
I went looking for something else to confirm that Maskell E. and Ervin are one and the same and on the 1940 census, page 17 of 34, Claude Allen and Angie had moved to Tishomingo County and all the boys old enough were working at a sawmill. "Ervin and Iona Hutchens" are also in Tishomingo County, page 1 of 34 and Ervin is also working at a sawmill.
Gladys Gertrude Hutchens Reynolds Harris is buried at Forest Hill East in Memphis where Ervin and Price are buried. She's listed with Reynolds as her maiden name instead of Hutchens. The ones I have never located are Alvin, J.R. and Emma. Emma's last name has been spelled three ways and have not found her with any of the spellings. Daphene told me J.R. was dead but cannot find him. Not sure what the J.R. was for. Do you know? Marsha
