Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been into Genealogy for a few years now, and enjoy researching my ancestors.

Through the edit tab, I frequently ask for spouse and children memorials to be linked, along with adding maiden, middle, and nicknames names . This makes it so much easier when looking for a certain person or their relatives.

Currently I am researching Hester's, Malone's, and some families that intertwine with them frequently like the Rickard's and Taylor's.

I am also researching (although it is currently on the back-burner) the Revell's, Saylors', Beavers, and Stewart's.

Please contact me with any Questions or if we may be distantly related. :)

RE: Samuel Rickard
No Melissa, I am not related to the Rickard family. I am a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and I help to acquire, set and list tombstones for Confederate Veterans in Arkansas.

RE: Hesters
Yes Melissa, I'm the G-G granddaughter of John Hester and Sarah Bowen. Their daughter, Hester Ann Hester Taylor was my G-grandmother and my grandmother was Malinda Etta Taylor Brewer.
Since you asked I'm assuming we are related?
Let me know if I can share info with you.
Warm regards, Doris 48948365

Davis transfers
I have made the transfer for Ocie Pearl Davis and W. J. Bryan Davis per your request. I always try to transfer to family when possible. Hopefully you can add to their memorials and link to other family.

RE: Hickey Family
Evening Melissa...
Although I've done extensive research on the Hickey family, I doubt that I could consider myself close to them...I was able to personally visit with Valley Hickey way back in the 1960-70's and gathered quite a bit of information on her family from her, and through her, various & sundry members of her descendants...However, most of the other info I showed on RootsWeb was obtained through the net and various genealogical sites...I'm hoping to update all the info I showed on RootsWeb this year (and probably the last time) since I've accumulated quite a bit more since that posting some years ago...

Valley Ezell Wood Hickey was the daughter of Alford Wood, who was the younger brother of my great grandmother, LaVina Wood Behringer; therefore my interest in the Hickey family...

Tried to email you at your address, but it came back to me.

RE: Beavers/Brooks
My Beavers are descended from William Walter Beavers (b. 1755, Rev War soldier) through his son James. If you are interested in this line, I have around 200 typewritten pages of material on descendents. Let me know.

RE: Beavers/Brooks
I have loads of info on the Beavers, if you are a descendent of William Walter Beavers b. 1755. Just finished writing a 104 page summary of my Beavers research. How are you connected to the Beavers?

My Brooks line is much less filled out. My connection is through Annis Brooks who married to David Lyle in Troup County, Georgia in 1835. Let me know what Brooks you need info on and I will be glad to share anything I have that would help.
