Thank you for your message. I have edited the name to take out the Hiram. I only transcribe what I find on the gravestone, this was a suggestion from another user. Since I don't know anything about him, I accepted the change. Now that you have raised the question, I changed it back.

I would say about 25 to 50 years since it has been cleaned up based on the size of the trees that have grown up. Let me know if you are in the area and want to go see it at some point as its pretty accessible. Bill

I walked Pointer's Creek Cemetery today and found very few old unreadable markers. Patio blocks replace most of the native markers for easy mowing. In the few records that were kept, I found N.G. Williams 1855-1880 but no marker.

My 9 year old grandson loves doing this with me. We make it a challenge to see who can find it first. Whoever finds it first gets treated to ice cream by the other. So glad we could help.
