 | Zachariah Nance (Nantz) Thank you for the picture of the tombstone. Is it possible for you to put a transcription of the tombstone on the website? The bottom of the stone is not readable. He is my 3 Great grandfather and I am looking for all documentation on him and his family I can find. Thanks. AnnieAdded by annie on May 18, 2013 12:55 AM | | | EPS

 | Michael Purkypile Grave at Morelock Cemetery in Morristown, TN I spoke to the gentleman who owns the land this cemetery is on. He told me Purkypiles are buried here, but their markers have long since disappeared or eroded (if markers were ever placed). He said there is no plat or anything labeling the graves, but he said this grave is probably close to the tree in the photo. That area contains the oldest graves in the cemetery, but the markers there are limestone and many of them are little more than rocks at this time. I'm adding this photo of the area because there have been several requests for Michael Purkypile's grave in recent times. I've searched more than once for this particular grave in the hopes of finding it, but this is the best that I can do. :-)

 | RE: James Bradley, Sr. (1729 - 1787) and wife Judith (1733 - 1807) Kevin, I had noticed these requests previously. Sorry but they do not have monuments in this cemetery and none have been listed in any earlier transcriptions. John | | | Grave Recorder
 | RE: question... Oh...if you tell me which memorial you saw IDS at I can change it to read Illinois Death Stillbirth index. Thanks (I would need cemetery, name of memorial) | | | | [View all messages...] |
