RE: John Hammel Jr
You're welcome. John Jr. was my 4th-great-grandfather. I'm descended from his son George (then Louis-Lewis-Herbert-David). Unfortunately, John Sr. is a major wall. A couple of earlier researchers believed John Jr.'s parents were John Sr. & Elizabeth Kelley of New Jersey. Anything I've found on "Jersey John" contradicts that. I believe that particular John Hammel was born & died in Jersey, which I know isn't true of our John (born in Germany & was in Washington Co., MD by the late 1700s, where I believe he later died). Also there are children's names that don't match the genealogy.

I see that some user submitted trees at Family Search list Joseph Monroe as buried at Wilberton Cemetery. Would you happen to know if this is true? I can't find a death certificate or any other primary source. I'm having a pretty busy week, but will try to look into this more later.
