Good morning,
You currently have a request for a photo at Notre dame cemetery in Ottawa. I would be happy to go and get a photo for you but I would appreciate the location. This cemetery is quite large. It has 114,000 graves currently. If you call the cemetery office at
613-746-4175, they will give you the location. Then update the memorial with the plot and section number and I will go this month and get your photo.

I looked for this headstone but unfortunately it cannot be found. I found the head stone for the person buried to the immediate west of this one but there is nothing where this one should be. Sorry

RE: Israel Renaud
As far as my permission goes, you're all good. Yes, proceed.

I recommend either linking to the specific memorial, or at least giving the memorial number so later researchers can find it more easily.

RE: Israel Renaud
You want to use my photo in a family book? Go for it! Citing: for myself, I just link to the website and memorial, but I pull data rather than photos.

I'm not yet comfortable posting my real name here, so "Introspector" is all you get. Please put it in quotes, as it is of course a pseudonym.

Find A Grave has been incredibly valuable to my own family research, so I decided to return the favor by uploading the nearest large cemetery in its entirety. If I happen to fulfill the many requests there in the process, so much the better.

I found it in Section B - please approve my edit to that effect. There's a map among Mt Calvary's Cemetery Photos.

RE: Headstone photo

Please feel free to use the photo for James Duffney. There is no cemetery record for his wife, Maude. There was a record for his son Francis and I created a memorial for him. He is buried next to his father, but I did not see a stone. I'll look again when I go back to the cemetery.

I did find a death notice for James and a picture of James & his wife that appeared in the newspaper for their 50th wedding anniversary. If you would like to see them, let me know and I will e-mail them to you.
