Bio Photo I have always been a history buff, so it would be only natural that I would become the family historian. Campground Cemetery is located less than a mile from my childhood home. My frequent trips to that cemetery as a child made me not only curious about the people who were buried there, but also about my own family history. What a fascinating journey this has been! I have found ancestors who were everything from Revolutionary War patriots to Mayflower passengers. Cousins I have found along the way have become such a blessing to me. Findagrave has been such a tremendous source of information for my family history research. I am thankful to have access to such a valuable resource!

Albina Brown Gifford
Hello Sharon. For some reason, I feel like we've communicated before, but I can find no record of it. Robert and Albina Gifford were my 3rd-Great grandparents (their daughter Mary Ann Elizabeth Gifford m George Washington Mauldin, their son Finice Ewing Mauldin m Mary Isebell Denson, their daughter Pearl Lou Vina Mauldin was my grand-mother). I am writing to inquire where you got the information regarding Albina's death and burial. I have tried for years to find a record, with no luck, and your Find-a-Grave entry is the first I've come upon (at least that I can determine). Please let me know. Thank you for the work you do for your fellow family tree climbers.

Robert White
No problem with not finding Robert Whites stone at Carolina Cemetery. Many of those stones were home made and disintergrated rapidly in that era.
Just knowing where Robert was buried is great.

Thanks much.
