|Janet Stout||RE: Headstones|
You are very welcome. Janet
|Gary Jennings||MARY JANE HUNTER|
NOTED YOUR AUGUST 3 , 2013 MESSAGE REGARDING YOUR "SECOND GREAT GRAND MOTHER , BORN IN SCOTLAND TO IRISH PARENTS" AND INFORMATION ABOUT SHE AND HER SISTER COMING TO AMERICA IN 1852 .
MARY JANE HUNTER WAS MY GREAT GREAT GRANDMOTHER HAVING MARRIED WILLIAM ARCHIE JENNINGS IN THREE MILE BAY , NY ON CHRISTMAS EVE , 1857 . THEY HAD MET AT THE HOME OF WILLIAM ARCHIE'S UNCLE GEORGE JENNINGS NEAR CAPE VINCENT , NY .
MY FAMILY INFORMATION HAD MARY JANE AN HER SISTER MARGARET COMING TO AMERICA IN 1849 TO SETTLE AROUND CAPE VINCENT , NY RATHER THAN IN 1852 . WILLIAM ARCHIE HAD COME TO AMERICA IN 1856 TO LIVE WITH HIS UNCLE GEORGE . MARY JANE HUNTER WAS WORKING FOR THE GEORGE JENNINGS FAMILY AND THE COUPLE MET THERE ACCORDING TO MY FAMILY JOURNALS .
THE "GREAT MYSTERY" IN MY GENEALOGICAL RESEARCH HAS BEEN TO IDENTIFY THE PARENTS OF MARGARET AND MARY JANE HUNTER AND WHERE THEY CAME FROM. I HAD NO IDEA MARY JANE'S PARENTS WERE IRISH UNTIL I SAW YOUR MESSAGE , AS SHE HAD ALWAYS SAID SHE WAS BORN IN SCOTLAND SO I ASSUMED SHE WAS SCOTTISH .
AN OLD FAMILY JOURNAL STATED THAT THE SISTERS CAME TO AMERICA ALONE , SO I HAD ASSUMED THEY WERE PERHAPS ORPHANS AT AGE 16 AND 12 ( IN 1849 ) .
CAN YOU FURNISH ANY FURTHER DETAILS ON THEIR EUROPEAN HERITAGE , LOCATIONS , PARENTS NAMES ,
"VITALS" ON THE PARENTS ( DOB , DOD , ETC. ) ?
HOW ABOUT SHIPS PASSENGERS LISTS ,PORT OF DEPARTURE FROM WHEREVER AND PORT OF ARRIVAL IN NORTH AMERICA ( USA ? CANADA ? ).
THANK YOU ,
|Kathie L. Webb Blair||Thomas Ashton|
Thank you for the "heads up". I've corrected his memorial. Take care.
With All Sincerity,

|Janet Muff||Stephen Paul|
The relationship of Stephen Paul to his parents is proven in his father's will. If you want the specifics, please write to me directly. I'm not going to copy and paste all the relevant information here.
Thank you for taking the photo for Irving O'Leary's grave.

|Terry Gosselin||kellys in maple hill|
Would you kindly cut & paste your photo of the Thomas Kelly huge monument located in Maple Hill cemetery in Cadillac Michigan, onto the memorials of Gladys & Lillian Kelly. I inserted the individual stones this morning for both of them, so just want the large stone also included. Thank you. Terry

I have copies of both Mary (who was married to my great uncle) and Ruby's death certificates. Both list their mother as Sarah Showers, so I feel I need to leave it as it is.
|Thomas Fea||My sister and I checked into our files and this is what we had found.|
from what I have his first marriage was to Sadie Blystone b 31 May 1867 PA d. 29 Aug 1915 Gratiot, MI
She married Fred Everett Fea on 30 Nov 1902 in Greenville, Mountcalm, MI (this probably came from the LDS website because I have no citations on the ancestry site - meaning their site doesn't have the actual marriage index or record).
She was the mother of Kenneth Robert Fea b. 1906
