I have spent some time on this family and don't know that these memorial were for same people. Feel free to do what you thnk is right. Jane

I have looked for Lombardo and feel that he would not be on census befoew 1950 with Celica- as isr husband didn't died until after that date. Jane

I don't have her on my list of J.B. and Josephine Bourg Mire's children. But if she was their child and died young, there's a good chance she's buried in the Mire tomb. The tomb only had names of JB and Josephine (listed as Mrs. JB) but many more people were buried there. My grandmother Estelle Roland Bernard was buried there in 1939. Family legend said St. Joseph's church didn't want her name on the tomb because she wasn't Catholic. I think it had more to do with everyone being poor, though. In the mid 80s we put her name on the tomb and no one complained. My Uncle Red was buried there in 2010, the first burial there since my grandmother 61 years before. My aunt Earleen added names of people she knew were buried there through her genealogy research, including my great uncle Jules Bernard, who died in 1921.

1st chance I get to come back to this family, I will check it out and correct, if necessary.

Another researcher says he is listed in the burial book as in this tomb. His obit and death certificate say he is in St Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux, LA. Until I find out otherwise, with documentation, I will leave him there.

This family is very confusing. Thank you for catching my error. For the time being, I will keep ownership of memorials of this family that I have created.
