Bio Photo I have been working on family history since 2002. My aunt requested that I find the names of her paternal grandparents before she died. I accomplished that the year my mother died in 2008. I continue to work on the family history now for my nieces, nephew, and cousin's children. I hope one of them will one day continue the research and continue to tell the family's story.

No, to answer your question, I'm not related to the Owen family. I am a lowly photographer who gets lost in cemeteries and takes pictures. That's is it. Thanks for the comments; it is my pleasure to do these for both the deceased and the families.

Robert Lambert Plot - New Prospect Cemetery
I visited the cemetery recently and took photos of the family plot. There are 8 persons buried there.

Please contact me at jeanbower49@hotmail.com and I will be happy to share the photos.

In answer to your question about who else might be buried in plot with Robert & Arminda Brumley Lambert, I don't know at present. I did some research and learn that Robert & Arminda's daughter, Laura I. Robinson is buried in same cemetery; don't know if she is in same plot or not.

If you haven't already, you might want to ask the person who added photos of their markers, just in case she remembers. She lives in the area.

I will be in that area in the next three months and will add the Lamberts to my "wish list"; New Prospect is fairly close to my hometown.

Please get back to me if you want me to visit the cemetery or if you get an answer before mid-November.

Take care, Jean

Hardin Jones
Cynthia, after a lot of searching from the little info I had I can now tell you that we are half 2nd cousins 1x. The half is because Hardin Jones but are descended from different wives.

RE: Jones & Johnson of Algoma
I don't have your mother in my data base so I need a generation back from her to find the direct line. Hardin sired 13 children by two wives. I'm descended from the first child of the first wife.

RE: Jones & Johnson of Algoma
Hardin Jones was my 3rd great grandfather. So we are related.

RE: Campground Cemetery Question
I am in FL right now and don't have access to the Johnson photo, but will be going home next week. If you will e-mail me a reminder later next week, I will look at the photo and see if I can read the inscription. Although my grandfather was a Johnson, my genealogy research has made no connection to James Johnson.
