|Graveyard Queen||RE: carol monteith|
Please accept my condolences. My memorial has been removed. Lori
|Marcia (MacRae) Solberg||Eliza Page|
Gail, there is no stone for Eliza anywhere near Warren. The only thing left would be if it is buried underneath the dirt. I didn't have any shovel to try to even tap the ground next to Warren. Sorry.

Hi Gail. I'm a Shepherd researcher and really appreciate your posting Leah's obit and headstone. While I realize that an obituary is only as accurate as the person giving the information, its still nice to see more specific information on her. I have a copy of a Shepherd book published in 1971, so not all in the book are documented.
|DPart||Ellen Page II|
although she is not listed on the stone, there is one NOT buried there that is, and she, as well as another child, are not.

Ellen is actually Paige, and is in lot 1 with Horace C. Paige. I did upload a picture of the lot to her memorial

|LLW||RE: Wallace and Elsie Page|
I tried the water trick to see if that helped - it didn't. Also as you requested I rechecked to see if any inscriptions (other than Wallace and Elsie) were on the other sides of the stone. There were not. I also checked around the area for any other Page graves and did not find any.

Have to apologize re Ellen Page I checked my lot book and it is really Ellen Paige, there is a Jonathan Page in lot 906, I will take a peak to see if there is a stone, unfortunately I have nothing in my notes.
I have a John Halstead who was the son of Isaac Halstead and his first wife Elizabeth Secor(a cousin of Isaac). John was married to a Mariah/Maria/Mary Wells. I do not have prove of this marriage or of John's birth. I do have Isaac and Caroline Halstead living with son John in the census records.
This is a link to John Halsted's memorial: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=HALS&GSpartial=1&GSbyrel=all&GSst=37&GScntry=4&GSsr=401&GRid=49610742&&ftm=1
Hope this helps. Warmly, Sandy

I have added the info you had requested. I am trying to add an obit for every individual buried in this cemetery. The books are very old and will take some time to get through them all. Check back from time to time. Best of luck!

I just transferred her to you. I like for families to reunite. You can buy a copy of her d/c at Washington Digital Archives online. Also you can put in a request for her grave marker. There are a group of very dedicated volunteers who work at that cemetery. Even if there is no headstone, they will locate the cement-numbered marker for you. Sometimes there is a stone, but it has overgrown over the years. I believe the volunteers take a great deal of joy out of finding these headstones. They worked on one for me for several months and we all were overjoyed when it was finally discovered. Best wishes. Alice
