RE: Recent photo updates from Gates Cemetery
You are welcome! Wish they would have been better but at least you got them.

Lillian Randall
Hi there! I tried to find Lillian's grave today but the cemetery office has no record. I tried to find an obituary in the Worcester Telegram but there wasn't one. What info do you have that Lillian is buried there? I could try again an a next trip out.
-Thanks Mary

I went back out today to double check and the only marker I could find was the plot marker.
If you don't want that on the memorial just let me know and I would be happy to delete.

Kind Regards,

You are welcome for the photo, always happy to add a photo to a memorial page.

I am not sure if the middle name is correct on the marker, the VA listing has his named spelled Elmer. I have found several markers at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery that appear to be incorrect. Recently I was asked to removed a photo with the incorrect name and replace it with a new photo of the marker with the name spelled correctly. Just yesterday I was adding photos and had one that was in error. The transcription was to read "Loving Husband and Father" but there was a space between the t and h so it read "Fat her", human error. I even made a mistake on my own brother's marker, (don't like to admit that but it happened and since I had to pay for it I just put a note in the bio that it was incorrect) instead of the date of death I gave them the date of the memorial service. Oops, mistakes happen, if your documentation has his name spelled Elmer that is most likely correct. I have sent a SAC to add to the bio that is name is Elmer according the family records and the VA listing.
