|leslie d||Huguley Family|
My great-great-grandparents were A B & Phoenicia Huguley.
I have a picture of them when they were younger. There is a picture posted of a two story white house. Did they live there and if so how long. I also have a picture of a one story house that was behind the cemetery in Crawford, AL. I was told that they lived there also. How are you related? I remember Uncle Henry and Aunt Elizabeth. Henry's middle name was Menzer, so I have been told. My grandfather's name was Menza. I would love any information and pictures. i will look for my pictures and post them on here.

By the Way, you have distant relatives in Ohio that live just up the road from you in Marysville, Ohio. Mom's sister, Kathryn Johnson Cook lived there and her children still live in Marysville. I have not been there in about 10 years. There son's name is Melvin Leroy Cook, a Jr until his father passed away. Kathryn is in a couple pictures I listed on photobucket. One is with the Stubaker car at the Jarrell homeplace and the other is pic of the homeplace that was, I think, the home of Allen and Adelle Johnson. Kathryn, James, Thomas, Martha Sue their children lived but only for a short time after Allen passed away. Kathryn, James, and Thomas were born in a Phenix City comunity called Girrad. Did not know this until I went thru documents from Mom's house. Just a little history !

Ms Christy Collins.
The Jarrell homeplace is gone now. I was down last year and you would never know that there was an old homeplace. Sad for me. There is several large new homes there now. Even the old pecan trees are gone. I lot of memories there gone for good. Take Care and I will try to keep in touch also.
Your request for Lillian Comerford is found. Please view the grave site website. Found in Section 22 at Sunset Cemetery. Picture posted. Also found with that was a Robert Comerford. I posted them both. Hope it helps with your family search.

Thank you so much for the reply. I have wondered who I was named after and I think maybe that is where it came from. I did not realized that that Uncle Henry and Aunt Elizebeth raised a child. I knew they had no children. I went to Aunt Elizebeth's service. I remember her well and loved her honesty. She talked like a real Southern Lady. I have always heard the name Sister but was not sure who she exactly was. We use to go and stay at Uncle Tom's and Aunt Fannies home. Dad got without work and we lived there thru one winter. Loved the fireplaces and the noisy rocking chairs. The kids had to bring in the firewood and stack on porch and bring the stove wood for the cook stove. Aunt Fannie had an electric stove but always used the woodstove. I remember the meats hung out on a little room from the kitchen. I have many memories of them. I have several photos for Uncle Tom and Aunt Fannie, Uncle Henry and Aunt Elizebeth, and lots of other photo's of probally kinfolks I do not know. When Mom, Martha Sue, passed last year, I started gathering all the photos together and found lots of photos I did not know existed. Yesterday I went to LaGrange to Dad's and Mom's home and found an old photo of W A Lamb and his wife, who was Aunt Fannie's Dad and Mother. I found out that W A Lamb fought in the Civil War and was captured at Gettsburg on the first day of the battle and was in prison at an island on the Delaware River until nearly the end of the war. I did not know the connection between the Lambs, Jarrells, and Johnsons until I found a document where W A filed for Pension. I will be glad to start sending photo copies to you. No Problem. Mom inherited some of Aunt Elizibeths furniture and other items. If you have an email address for me to send photos directly to you. I may even post the photo's on a Photo website for you look at. I have not decided yet about this. But anyhow, I will be glad to send them to you and maybe identify some of the unknown folks. Take Care, Frank Foster
