I became interested in Genealogy in 1998 when I returned to my home town in Royal Oak, Mi. after being away for 35 years. A cousin of mine decided to have a family reunion at that time. Having a very large number of 1st cousins that I hadn't seen since childhood, I was delighted and overwhelmed with emotions. Everyone brought stories and photos and we talked for hours about our ancestors. The Altay Cemetery in Schuyler Co., N.Y. became my main focus as this is where my mother's Great Grandparents are resting. Since then, I have discovered that many of the people buried there are closely related to me if not directly.|
Before Genealogy, I was breeding show quality Scottish Terriers, which I have raised over 52 puppies.
I have all the plot information for the Altay Cemetery. I am will to look it up for anyone interested.
I am currently using my Arwine family research / data to link together the family of Col. Arthur Erwin of Erwin, Steuben Co. N.Y.
I would like to pass on the kindness that I have received in the past while looking for my ancestors so I am willing to look up obituaries for any of my NY listings which is nearly all of them. Please request through the memorials.

A big thank you for creating a memorial for my gr aunt Daisy Morgan. 125507356. We have been literally looking for her for years.
I linked her to her first husband, George Yandeau. and to her daughters Alice and Leona.
Would you please put in her bio that she died of pneumonia at age 29, and that Jesse was her 2nd husband.
There is a hand written family document on family search which provided me with the information.
I sent some edits for her already re linking her to Jessie and her maiden name too.

Thank you for attempting to find this lady's gravestone. It's always kind of sad to find a grave unmarked. We appreciate your effort! NikB

You can transfer Bertha A and Charles B if you like. They are my great grandparents. Bertha didn't died until 1966, so I was lucky enough to grow up knowing her. She was quite a bit younger than Charles. You seem to have entered quite a bit of Hope Cemetery in Corning. Thanks for all that work. It has been helpful to me in the past and I am now trying to add info to help others. Susan

You may transfer Isaac G. Palmer, Isaac M.'s father, as well. I'll be glad to handle both. Susan

Sure, I will take it over. I have more info I can add to it. What a help this is to the myriad number of cousins we all have out there! Thanks! Susan

I don't know how you are related to Isaac, but he is my second great grandfather. I happened to have his gravestone pic so I have added it for everyone. Susan

Thank you Kathy for the quick transfer of my dad's memorial.
Thanks for the heads up. I try to guard against making them but still I do.
I changed the cemetery on the other one.
