Thank you for taking pictures at the Highland Cemetery in Hawkins County, TN. I didn't realize that many of the extended Southern family were buried there. It is very much appreciated!!

RE: Dean Cemetery
Sorry, I don't know anything about where this cemetery is. I live in Ohio, and have never been to this particular county in Tennessee, wish I could help! Patty

RE: Margarett Spears
Wow, what a small world.
Margarette was married to my gggrandfather
Robert Hamilton Spears. He also was married to a Sarah Elizabeth Castle before Margarette, but she died in 1918.I don't know when they married (year) but Sarah had my gggrandfather Joseph Hamilton Spears who married Rachael Matilda Hurley and she had my grandmother Pearl Jane. Pearl is my grandmother, my mother (Betty Louise) mother. So we are related through Robert Spears.
I found out through research and confirmed through cousin about Mable, Morris, Lillie and Gily just a few month ago. My cousin told me to contact Mable or Gily to get more information and see if she had any pictures she could share of Robert and Margarette and children. But doing the research I found that Mable had passed in 2002. I felt defeated. There isnt many family members alive that knows much of any thing. So if you can contribute any info. I would appreciate it. I dont even know where Robert is buried. I know he died January 23, 1933, in Eidson,Hancock,TN. Do you know?
Thanks for letting me know you are related to Margarette. I live in Michigan, about 40 minutes from the Toledo/Ohio border. My Mom moved here with my Dad and his family in the 1940's. My mothers family many stayed in Pemiscot,Mo. and there is some in Memphis. Children of my mothers brother and their children. Most family members have passed on.
Well, I have to get going I have alot to do today. Have a great day,and God Bless.
