RE: Burr Oak photos you've taken
Hi, Ken,

Both Josephine and Geneva did an incredible amount of work in our county as far as documenting the genealogy of our residents. Although, I have never met them, I have a very high regard for all their work.

If you can check the records of the Burr Oak Acorn for an obituary for Priscilla, I can go to the Burr Oak Library and get a copy for you. That may help sort out the last name issue. I believe you can find an index of obituaries contained the Burr Oak Acorn on the usgenweb.com website. If she is listed and you can provide me the date and issue, than I will be able to locate the obit. (If there are other obits you'd like me to look up for you, list those for me as well.)

I'm don't have a lot of time available right now (my youngest is graduating from high school this week and things are a little crazy right now), but I'll get over to the library in the next couple of weeks.

RE: Burr Oak photos you've taken
Hi Ken,

I don't live too far from the Burr Oak Cemetery & have been trying to photograph headstones there for the last year or so.

I don't have any specific information concerning Pricilla but if I've photographed other headstones on the same plot then I would guess that she doesn't have a stone because I usually photograph the entire family group at the same time. I'll try to get out to the cemetery in the next few weeks and double check to see if maybe I missed her stone.

After June 15th, if you'd like I can do a little research at our library & courthouse for you. If you would send me the specific info your looking for I'll try to help.

Elizabeth Tribby Moreland
I'm afraid I don't have the information you were looking for. I was given the information on Elizabeth from another. I was looking for another Moreland also buried in this cemetery at the time, and given the information I posted form another.

RE: History of Morehead Cemetery
Hi Ken,
Sorry, but I have none of the information you are requesting. I didn't actually create the memorials on findagrave. Upon someone's request I did drive down to the church and snapped the photos. The cemetery is in Holmes County; I am in the county to the north - Wayne County.
The following link has an aerial photo of the church and the adjointing cemetery that you may enjoy.

Wish I could have been more help.

Enjoy the adventure,
Don

RE: Tribbys at Moorhead, Holmes Co, OH
Ken, your guess is as good as mine. I was mystified by the contradictions also. I tend to believe the correct name is Moorhead Cemetery, but I can't say that with all certainty. I've never even been to Ohio!

Looks like we're related: I'm a direct descendant of Thomas Tribby.

Good luck with your research!
