I have been doing genealogy since 1987, it is the best hobby I have I love doing genealogy because it is like being a detective. I have a family that someone said the father married the son's wife but I had gotten the father's Revolutionary war record and it had proven what I had said all along the son's wife did not marry the father. I had gotten 3 or 4 of the children's death records and that helped with my proof.

My families are: 2 different families of Baker's, Eaton's, Carver's, Mellon's, Sloan's, Young's from Kentucky. Fling's, Mitchell's, Moody's, Udell's and so many more I love them all.

Now I have find a grave to be able to help keep things straight for me. I love this site.

You are very welcome. I am not related and I like when family members want to maintain their relatives. If I have any others, let me know.

RE: Maria (Carver) Sliker
The only thing I found is this in the Lutheransonline website, alphabetical listing of decedants at Oak Grove Cemetery -
"Sliker , Unknown, Old Plot, Section 6 Lot 21
Otherwise have not any information.
There are no other Slikers, or Carvers in that cemetery.
St Mary's Tomah has no Slikers.
You might want to check other cemeteries in area, Monroe County and they are found on http://www.usgwarchives.net/wi/monroe/m-cem.htm

Good luck

RE: Bowen's
Please use the "Suggest a Correction" link under the "Edit" tab on the memorial in question with your request to have each individual memorials linked. This will send an email request, and I will know exactly who you are referring to and the exact name of the cemetery. Be sure to include the memorial ID#s for each of the family members.

RE: Peggy
More and more people are doing that because there are people that jump in and only stay a volunteer for a short time and then you have to wait for 21 days for edits to go thru. I have been doing it also. People don't understand that when you are on Find A Grave it is a lifetime commitment.
