|I started doing genealogy in 1996 after the death of my mother in October 1995. People were coming up to me at the funeral home saying I am Glenda's so and so. I had no clue who they were.|
I stopped for a few years when my boys were involved in high school activities but I have slowly begun to pick it back up. I am going to start by adding family members that aren't listed here on FindAGrave.
I love doing genealogy and I hope to get more active again.
Please note that the names listed below include several "greats". I will not and can not claim credit for all the names. When I started I had wonderful people that I corresponded with to help. If someone saw a relative on my website (which is now defunct) I would refer them to the original researcher and vice versa.

I am heading to montgomery on Thur. I should be in Calhoun Co, that night. I will call you to talk about our venture a little more as this is easter weekend. Didn't think about that when I planned this.

Keitha, I am leaving on Sunday the 13th but will not be up in the northern area until much later that week probably about fri. or sat. Not sure as I do not know exactly how long I will need down south first. I definitely would appreciate a helping hand with the owner of the land! There is a neighbor that has a 4-wheeler that offered to take me back there and show me where it is but that was 2 years ago and I am not sure if that offer still stands. Any help you could send my way would be much appreciated with this endeavor. I have osteoporosis in my back and arthritis in my knees so walking long distances is really difficult for me. So if I ever get there I will be sitting for periods in between. I suppose we could email any info that would be personal so that it is not out there for all the public to read on this matter.
Thanks for all your help.

Hello again! I am trying to get this ancestry thing right but I have run into another problem. On this memorial, in the intro section, it states that he & Mary Griffith had 3 children, but there are 4 listed and 4 memorials? Do you know which is correct? Not being nit picky but had 4, deleted the boy and now have to go back and add, again.

Thanks for your response....I was curious as to where he may be buried, I am planning an ancestry road trip to AL and didn't know whether I should put him down as one to hunt for or not. I am seriously going to try to go to that Griffith Cemetery this time! I have been in that vicinity once before and thought I might have found it but couldn't be sure as it was getting dark and I didn't have time to clean it up good enough to read any of the stones I did find. It is a ways off the road and I am limited on what I can carry back there to do any of that. I have problems walking long distances in my old age! LOL If I manage to find it again, I will stay until I get most of it done and also photo all the stones so we don't have to go back, yet we still have a visual record on Find A Grave.

I was just curious, has anyone ever requested a photo of this relative and found there is no headstone? Thank you

|Ancestor Hunter||Nettles transfers|
I can assure that any Nettles memorials that I have created are related to me.
Please see Find-A-Grave transfer guidelines.
Please tell me how you are related to these Nettles, as I would like to add you to my Nettles database.
Thanks and Regards,

I wanted to let you know that I did not find another marker for same name but last name Almond. Hope this helps you in your research.

I have transferred the three you ask for connections. There are more Monks buried at Antioch. Do you want all of them or list those you do want.
