Bio Photo Hi, I first want to thank those who have already helped me and also thank those that I'm sure will help in the future. I am trying to collect as many of my families memorials to go along with the family tree I started not too long ago. I can tell how much work and time people volunteer and really appreciate it. I'm so glad to be a part of this community.~

RE: Lusk
My set up info came from Ancestry.com. As I research my extended families and if they are not on Find A Grave, then I set them up and try to get as much info as I can before setting up and adding more info later. I see I have transferred their pages to you for further handling. If you need anything else let me know and I will help you. - Sue Armstrong

Glad I could help you out. It was no extra effort since I am systematically photographing (or trying to) all the headstones at Southland Memorial. As it worked out, yours was on the next row to be photographed exactly where you said it was.

Armour Cemetery
Hello Julie,
Can cemetery registries be located online, the answer is 'yes', I haven't found anything yet that couldn't be located online given the proper search. Four years ago I found Armour and copied the files. I will be glad to provide you with a copy if U want to send me an email address. I don't have any idea how to do it over findagrave.
I can't remember how I located it so I can't just send a URL.
There are (2) parts, West and East.
West is the original side where the Lusk's are located, East being the newer & across the road.
I will keep your Lusk requests in mind and maybe one of these days I can catch the caretaker over there. He is the one who put me on to the graves being under the road. I should have gotten his contact info but since I have the records, I thought it not necessary info.
Let me know, Later, James Coston

Mattie & William Lusk, Armour Cem
I have been visiting there for 5 years and to my knowledge have viewed every readable stone, their are -not- among them. The other Lusks I have posted photos for already. It needs to be noted that when they paved a road thru the middle of the cemetery any grave in the path was paved over, none were relocated. The Lusk stones that I photographed are near that road if they are covered or not, no way pf knowing. II witched the road and after finding 10 or so graves, I gave it up.
Also, I checked on the registry and did not find them listed.
Good luck on your quest, and I hope I'm wrong, but the odds are this will be a dead end.
later, James Coston

Combs Memorials
Hi Julie,

We are both descended from Charles Combs. My Great Grandfather was James Combs, Charles' oldest son. I would prefer to keep the memorials since my husband and I had such a difficult time locating the cemetery and this particular cemetery was my first one to photograph for Find a Grave.

Also, there were actually 9 Combs boys. The first 8 were with Charles' first wife Abigail and the 9th one with his second wife Anna.

Thanks for contacting me.
