Scanning the back roads and small communities of Northern NH in search of clues to our past.
The elation from finding 4 generations of my father's family in a small cemetery in Stark, NH has launched my wife and I on a journey to map and photograph other ancestors in the Great North Woods. Serving as my wife's divining rod I have found so many links to our past and thoroughly enjoy adding more chapters to the story.

Ladora A DEMICK in Colebrook Village Cemetery
I have a question concerning Ladora (Find A Grave Memorial# 96838772) daughter of Edward and Sarah DEMICK. Note the spelling of the last name as DEMICK and the links and her memorial point to last name spelling of DIMICK. I believe the last name should be DIMICK. Do you think the stone-cutter made a mistake? Regards, John

RE: Welcome!

Hey Chuck!
You must be Shirley's Husband.

I can't believe what you two have done. The grave markers look great. Shirley probably told you the relief I feel in knowing that they are in condition and cleaned up - good for another 100 years..

And finally, it is *so* nice to meet you as well! ;-)
