I changed the dates but I really don't know which date is correct. In the 1840 and 1850, the date is 1790 but on the 1860 census and the marker, it is listed as 1792. Samdra

RE: Sarah G Oakes Piatt
I am SO glad that I was able to get back to the cemetery during "good" sun hours - and I got BETTER pictures of ALL the Piatts!!

Sarah, for some reason, is buried under her maiden name of "Oakes" and is with other "Oakeses." The only William Piatt there is in "Piatt row" . . . which is shown with the rest of them.

Not sure how they fit in at all . . .but apparently she was more Oakes than Piatt!! :-)

duplicates Greasy
I have deleted all the memorials that I submitted that is in the Greasy (Amburgey) cemetery. I think I have gotten all of them. I am going to let you request Find A Grave to merge the cemeteries. Submit the 2 cemeteries to them explaining they are duplicates. Also explain that removed the duplicates. Send the request to info@findagrave.com Give them all the location information, county and state. It may take a while for them to get to the request as they are so busy, but they will send you an email when it's done. If you find other duplicates when it is merged let me know. Thank you for all you do on Find A Grave.
