RE: anderson
Yes, that is a picture I placed on We have pictures of him. His marriage certificate, his death Memorial Card and the newspaper announcing his death. I have his widow and two children ship manifesto when they came back to the United States. Mrs. Eva Marie Anderson was originally from Maine.
All I do not have is a record of where David O Anderson and his father Alexander Anderson are buried.
I appreciate all the research you are doing. One of these days we will find their place of burial. I know it is not on Find A Grave and I know the CD of all people buried in Kings County cemeteries has neither of their names.
I am hoping the churches I emailed may have a clue. They had to be buried.
Thanks for your work.

RE: anderson
Yes, I have that information. Some of it I placed it on my tree first and then others added to theirs. I have just written to the Aylesford Baptist Church and plan to do the same to the All Saint's Anglican Church. I know Alexander was christened at the St. Stephen's Anglican Church in Chester, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. But I have been told they attended a Baptist church in Aylesford. I do know some families have had one parent of one denomination and the other another denomination.
I even have both of their Memorial Cards but no church or funeral home on them and found a digital copy of a newspaper when they both died since they died just 25 days apart.

RE: Anderson Family
I just heard from another person who has a CD of all those buried in Kings County cemeteries and the Alexander Anderson buried at Aylesford Union Cemetery is not my Alexander.I do not know who it is. And their no records of either of my Andersons.
I thought for sure I had finally found them after all those years. Thanks for your help.

RE: Alexander Anderson
I know he had a son named David, I have no knowledge if he had a brother name David.
His siblings I know of were

He had children with Susannah H Lantz who supposedly came to the United States as a widow, but I have never found records to support that.

Anderson Family
I am trying to find the place of burial of my great grandfather and his father. They died in the same year 1897
David O Anderson
BIRTH 1864 Aylesford, Kings, Nova Scotia, Canada
DEATH 28 APR 1897 Aylesford Station, Kings, Nova Scotia, Canada
Alexander A Anderson
BIRTH 08 SEP 1823 Chester, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada
DEATH 05 APR 1897 Aylesford Station, Kings, Nova Scotia, Canada
I have read there are Andersons buried in the Aylesford Union Cemetery.
David's widow and two children, Nina and David, left Nova Scotia shortly after his death and came to the United States and settled in Maine. My grandmother was Nina whose daughter became my mother. My mother past away this summer at the age of 98. Would it be possible to see if you could find Alexander's and David's headstones and their wives if also buried with them?

RE: Banks family
Hi Carolyn - Most of the photos were taken in 2009. I had a few from a few years earlier but that's the year that I did the inventory.

I'm north of you - Montana.

Hi Carolyn

If you are referring to the Morristown Cemetery, I also live a couple thousand miles away. I inventoried the old cemetery on a vacation trip to Nova Scotia. I enjoy visiting the cemeteries, but don't yet have another trip planned.
