Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello everybody. First of all, I'm from Butler County, Pa. and I'm a baby boomer and a retiree as of 2012. I'm a product of my generation and I'm a veteran of the US Army having served a year in Vietnam. Agent Orange assassinated my pancreas and I'm a type 1 diabetic because of it. I'm of the Roman Catholic persuasion deeply involved with my church, a member of the Knights of Columbus, a member of the VFW, and my politics are libertarian but mostly conservative. I became interested in cemetaries because I love history and love the stories of people. Every grave has a story, to be sure. My main goal in life is to be a burden to as many people as I can. (Did I mention, I've been married to a long suffering woman since 1975? I just did, I guess.) I want to be buried when I die and have an awkwardly shaped tombstone so I can be a burden to the guy who cuts the grass around my grave. The tombstone text is to be printed upside-down so that curiosity seekers will have to struggle to read it. The last line will read, "Made ya look!" De colores y Ultreya!

Samuel French #8261215
Hi Ron,

I don't believe I had previously realized that you located and photographed Samuel French's headstone. I have been to St. Petersburg multiple times, and believed him to be without any visible monument or marker, as there is no sign of him next to his wife, Martha Belle. It is so wonderful to see that he has a stone! I am so greatly appreciative of your finding this ggg-grandfather of mine. Thank you!!
