Burwell Aycock & Burwell Aycock Jr
Hi Billie,

I am trying to find some death certificates or marriage documents to support the birth relationship between Burwell Aycock Sr (1770-1846) (son of Richard Aycock) and Burwell Aycock Jr.(1804-1860). Do you have any information or tell me where to go on that. Burwell Jr. was my 5 times great grandfather and his son Seaborn Jackson Aycock my 4 times great grandfather. I am trying to support the lineage up through Richard Aycock.
thank you for any help.

RE: Tipton Family Links

Done. Thanks for notifying me. I'm always glad to be of help.

If you are kin (close or distant) to the Tiptons, I'll be glad to transfer the memorial(s), ... especially if you'll maintain the memorial(s). I think it's my duty to add all of the family info that is possible in order to provide the most info for those who are kin, friends, or acquaintances of the deceased. It also helps those of us who are trying to discover/track our ancestors and distant kinfolk.

Lawrence & Rebecca Akins
Hi again Billie,

Even though the birth year difference of Lawrence Akins is different on Rice Cemetery (1897) and Valhalla Memorial Gardens (1898); this could possibly be the same couple!

Rebecca could've possibly been buried in Valhalla Memorial Gardens versus Rice Cemetery, where her husband is buried. I just don't understand why anyone would go to the expense of paying for two plots at Valhalla when the one at Rice's was already paid for; including the headstone!? They also had to pay for the shared marker at Valhalla with the wrong birth year on it! Confusing!

Considering all of these different things; I choose not to make any changes on my memorial for her at Valhalla. Bye again and bless you for all your work,

Lawrence & Rebecca Akins
Hi Billye,

The Lawrence & Rebecca Akins you contacted me about are located at "Rice Cemetery" and not at "Valhalla Memorial Gardens". Same names but, different people. Please read the names and dates on both sets of headstones and markers for verification.

Bye for now and hope you're having a blessed week,

Johnny Sharp (contributor # 47599970)

Isaac Pendleton & Lucy "Marable" Aycock
I have linked Isaac's parent's, and his wife to his memorial. I have a Lunsford Aycock, born 1796 in Wake Co., N. C., died abt. 1850 in Oktibbeha County, Miss., he married Mary Ann Brown July 14, 1813 in Wake Co., N. C.! They had a son named Newton H. Aycock, born 1817, died 1863 in Tennessee. He has been claimed to be buried at Bethleham Cemetery, in Calhoun County, Miss.! Newton married Nancy Ann Hamilton abt. 1842 in Oktibbeha County, Miss., they had 10 children, three of their son's were doctor's.
