Thank you for the correct information. The web page has been updated.

The Hale Cemetery Inscriptions was a state wide WPA project to list standing headstones during the depression. It doesn't mean they aren't buried in Branford, just that there is no headstone to photograph. Although I don't know the history of Branford's Old Cemetery, I know the next town, East Haven's Old Cemetery wasn't established untill 1707. Before then, the dead were carried to New Haven to be buried on the Green.

Mairzy, how in the world did you (or somebody) come by a child portrait of my 5th gr grandfather Robert Barber, b. 1700, buried in the Worcester MA Common Burial ground? It's very unusual to see a child portrait of someone that far back in time unless they were very high class.
Thanks from Sarah L. Kemble
The order is great. I tried to delete the photo of the cemetery but couldn't. By the way I just transferred her memorial to you..

I put "Martha's mother was Martha Pettinger before she married Ray Schutt" in her Bio because you asked me to add it in your 3rd message to me.

I guess one of us is confused. I put the names of Winona's children on her memorial already. Please look at Winona's memorial. As far as her husband, John, the children are listed in the obituary that I posted on his memorial. I'm not sure where else you want the children's names written.
I spent one summer taking pictures of each headstone. The reason it took me so long. Is I have Fibromyalgia really bad and other problems with my back so I could do only one row at a time. I would go home after taking the pictures, upload them to the computer, go online, resize it upload to computer then create a memorial. I finally had back surgery to help relieve pressure on the sciatic nerve. He did his best but I still have bad pressure on the nerve. I have a husband that is disabled with bad migraines which buts in bed most of the time caused by a teenager who slammed in to him with her car going about 55 mph when he was stopped, 25 years ago.
I get my info from the headstones and from people asking me to add or subtract info on the memorials.

I made the other corrections except for you asking me to type the names of Winona's actual children in the bio info. I already had them typed there but I just donít know what you mean by actual children.
Iím not sure where you asked for a transfer of the memorials to you but please refer to the paragraph below as for transfers.
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents as outlined in the FAQ answers at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?searchArg=transfering+memorials&page=listFaqs#79. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. If you are not within these generations, I will help in putting any info you have on the memorial.
Since your mother's cousin was Winona, you donít fall within that category. I will be glad to help you in any info you need to put on any of the memorials.
Please go to each memorial and make a suggestion so it will be easier to make the corrections and to keep things straight in the future.
