|Find A Grave memorials are not meant to be extensive family histories. An obituary or a short biography will be sufficient. Find A Grave can be a great genealogy resource but let's not forget the MAIN PURPOSE is to document the burial sites of our loved ones.|
*EDITS: - Thank you for edits sent to me - I sincerely appreciate them.
*PHOTOS: - Please - no obituary photos, unless you took them.
*DOCUMENTS: - Please no copies of documents. Information from the documents can be entered in the bio. section
*CENSUS RECORDS: - I will NOT add them.
*TRANSFERS: - Transfer requests will be considered for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, unless I am also related.
*BURIAL UNKNOWNS: - Please do not add them. I will NOT link to a memorial where the final disposition is unknown. The Burial Unknown option was set up by FAG originally for recent burials with the provision they be removed after 30 days (see FAG Guidelines). Find-A-Grave's primary objective has always been to document the final disposition of an individual. .

|Heidi Olson-Manska||Anne Johnson|
Thank you for adding the picture for Anne Johnson!
|David Erickson||Carrie Erickson from Nelson, MN|
I have been tracing my family in Carlos & Nelson MN. I have a family letter written by Mrs Carrie Erickson from Nelson, MN on 29 December 1892 to my great great grandfather R. P. Olson in Woodside, Polk County, MN. This letter is in Swedish and I had it translated but lost the translation copy. So I have been going on what I remember is said.
My recent trip to the Douglas county histroical family search library tuned up a possibility of Carrie being a relation to my family. My family id from Heden, Lima, Dararna, Sweden. R.P> Olson owned land in Carlos, MN not far from the Falun Lutheran Church between 1881 and 1895.
If you know of Carrie Erickson born 9 July 1852 in Langvicken, Lima, Dararna, Sweden family members I would like to collaborate with them yo establish how we might be related.

|Rod||Violet Van Wie|
Thanks for checking, cause I goofed..
Violet (Mrs. Leon)(Find A Grave 142777461) was first wife of Leon P. (Find A Grave 144566646) and NOT married to William.
My confusion relates to fact that both Wm. and Leon married a Bernice.
This is according to the obit card file and obit records of the DCHS, where I had a pleasant visit yesterday.
Please DO NOT approve the Violet/William submission. You may choose to accept Violet marriage to Leon or decide todouble check at the DCHS, your choice.
The ladies at DCHS are wonderful to work with. You have a great resource there.

|Jim Olson||Lisa Johnson / Flor|
Thanks for the comment about Lisa Johnson in Oak Mound Cemetery at Evansville, MN. She was my great aunt, although I never knew her. I know the headstone also shows Flor (in a different font), but I think they lived together but were not married. That is what our family history says. The death certificate shows the last name as Johnson. The 1905 Minnesota state census shows her marital status as divorced from her husband, Henrik Olson. I think I'll leave the last name as it is. Best wishes for you.
|Jeannie Scarber||Arthur Oscar Anderson|
Thanks for taking thre photo of Arthur Oscar Anderson's grave marker! I live in Arizona so it's great to have someone in the land of 10,000 lakes who is willing to do it! The Great War Doughboy Search is grateful!
|Lori Rhoden||Ole Vik|
Thank you for adding the old tombstone for Ole Vik. (Memorial# 32462422) I appreciate it very much. Lori
|Cheryl Lynn||Emil Gustav Saterlie - Mound Grove Cemetery|
Thank you so much for taking a new picture of Emil Saterlie's headstone after it was cleaned. It looks SO much better. I deleted my photo.
Thank you for the various obituaries you've sent through for the Syverson and Olson families. I think I've made all the edits, and I've added you as the contributor. :)
All the best,

Sure, just removed my photo, your photo was much better. Do you use anything to clean stones, or was it the lighting?

|Lynn Allen||RE: Gran/Grant|
It should be Jean Gran Carroll. Her baptized name was in Norway was Caspara and the 1910 Census shows Caspara, but she went by Jean Gran until she married.
