Thanks for the picture. Not sure why I requested that picture, lol. You must have made a trip up.
More later,

Volska Graves in Elroy
Thank You, Marie! Thank you so much for the photos of the gravestones of my great-grandparents, Mary & August Volska in Elroy.
I live in San Antonio, TX and have never visited family graves in central Wisconsin. However, a trip to Elroy is on my "bucket list."
Again, many thanks!

HELLO, I transfered him to you, sorry I didn't get a headstone photo. I took all photos of headstones. I had a list of who should be there. If you want to add to someones site, you can. Edit button at the top right corner. I have been fixing a lot of my relatives, If they are a close relative, then I ask for transfer. Any more let me know. Cindy

RE: Albert E. Preuss
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I deleted the picture of the large family stone from Albert's memorial page. Will you please add the correct picture? Since my page was created first and has the complete birth and death dates, will you kindly delete yours? I would like to copy and paste the note and the plot location you added to Albert's page, if that's okay with you.

My sister-in-law told me some of the Lewerenzes (mainly August's 3 American-born sons) changed the w to a v because there was too much confusion with mail delivery, but I don't know the "real" story. Regardless, it's still pronounced the same, as my husband's family all pronounce the w as a v.

Have you had any luck finding Pomeranian church records for the Preuss baptisms? I found your great-grandfather's record and my interpretation of his second middle name is Gotthilf. I'm curious where you found it spelled Gotthief.

Preuss - Jensen
Thank you for adding the headstone pictures for the Jensen's. Yes you can add the marker picture. Is Anna their daughter? I'm not familiar with that name. If she is you can connect her to them. Anita
