Hi Lois! She's not a relative that I'm aware. But I do have a relative named named Rachel (Squirel) Stephens. It's such an unusual name I do wonder if they might be relate dsomewhere ong the line. Unfortunately, I little of her early life & history.

storm here too.
all the pieces fit but the wrong James 1866-67 as far as I know- it all looked good until someone looked further for me- that info now lost!
I will let you know what the death certificate says if it ever gets here!

Well at first I thought he was my great grandfather's brother.But it looks like "Indiana" and the other James are not related to my James. Will know when I get the death certificate from Pennsylvania.This has been 50 years trying to break down this brick wall! LOL
What do you know of Wade?
