I posted the photo of Daniel & Mary Cook's stone in Wayne. As you can see it is a very old style and has been weathered from the pine trees around it. Cemetery records list Daniel's dates as 1798-1885 and Mary 1808-1891. One minor correction on your request. Steve Gross does not work at the cemetery, he is a Cemetery Board member.

Hi Cindi, The date of death was simply my reading of the stone, which was difficult to read. I did not have access to cemetery records. I revised date to 1866. The cemetery does have a website, and you may be able to contact them. Best wishes, Lynn

I am the overseer of Belvidere Cemetery in Turin and the pictures were taken 4 years ago when I was going to originally put them on Findagrave. I plan on putting all the pictures on there that I have.
I enjoy learning a little about everyone in the cemetery, and I am even halfway related to almost everyone in the county in some little way. After I uploaded the pictures last night I did some looking for more information on the McCollom and Wolter families of Castana and I found Robert McCollom's obituary.
It is really sad as it describes how his last moments were spent. Such sadness in this family as just 4 years before, his daughter Mabel Wolter committed suicide leaving her children to be raised by their father. And all of his children passed away before he did. Here is a link also to Eva's death announcment, http://mapleton.advantage-preservation.com/document/mapleton-press-1910-11-17-page-4
I can only assume that his son Martin must be buried in Belvidere also. I will have to keep this in mind as I look for unmarked graves.

There is a website St Peters Parish Church, New Kent County, and every grave is listed. Also every grave has been photographed. It was last updated 2010. You can go to their website and see a list of people who attended the church - and who is buried in the cemetery. If there is no picture, chances are your relative is not buried in St. Peters.

Thank you for the nice note. I took the photo of Adeline's grave stone yesterday. I have the request for Harvey also, took the photo of his grave stone today. They are not buried next to each other and I did not see his grave until this morning, they are about 30 feet apart.
Will post his shortly.....Peggy
