Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am daughter of Clair & Dorothy Stuffle (Cole), of Raglesville, Daviess County, VanBuren Twp,Indiana. I was adopted May 1960. I was the only child. Elisha T. Stuffle, Clair's father lived with us until his death April 20, 1967 (4 days before his birthday). I was holding his hand when he passed at the age of 15.

I have photos of the Stuffle family and Smiley family if any one would like copies I am trying to get them in place with their grave site. Or you can find them on

RE: Charlie Veller family
I'm am happy to share the picture! My great grandfather Oswell Henry Veller was a brother to them. The picture that I posted was taken at the park in Linton, Indiana. I'm sorry but I don't think I have anymore of uncle Charlie but if I do come across one, I will gladly share with you.

RE: Courtney
Yes, that happens..........but there is not much we can do about it.....most of it was done by our ancestors, sadly. Glad that you DO know now. :-)

RE: Martha Louise Kelsey
Martha's husband. You stated the names I had for her parents were actually her husbands parents. I posted her correct parents names as you put in your message and then thought I could find her husband's memorial but am not sure of the memorial number.

RE: Martha Louise Kelsey
Thank you very much for pointing out my error, it has been corrected. Would you happen to know where Edward is laid to rest?

RE: Mace Cole
Please look at memorial 79853810 in Cass County, MN for Valentine Cole. Could this be your great grandfather?

Celicia Jane "Jennie" (Luginbill) Cole
I believe her parents might be Daniel & Hitie (Kockern) Luginbill but don't put your heart into it.

John Burrell, my great grandfather
John Burrell was born 6 Dec 1810 in Washington, Maryland and according to a family bible, died on 2 Dec 1873 in Van Buren, Daviess, Indiana. His first wife, Jane Smiley, died on 30 Dec 1860 in Tuscarawas, Ohio. His second wife Elizabeth Harmon Hubbard died on 20 May 1869 in Dover, Tuscarawas, Ohio according to the same family bible. I noted that Raglesville Cemetery had several Smiley family members at rest here. I would appreciate knowing if someone discovers a grave of John Burell there. Thank you for your help. Sally

RE: Douglas Scudder
Thank you so much for the kind words. Hopefully, my work will help those who are searching very hard but cannot find their relatives. That is the main reason I do this. I am STILL searching for my ancestors!
