I started using Find A Grave when I began tracing my family history. I love genealogy and would be more than happy to share the info I have for the memorials I manage, so just ask. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments. I also really appreciate any additional info that you can provide for my memorials!

I have been made aware you sponsored Phil Studley's memorial. Would you like a transfer?

Family Bible
Caitlin,

A family bible presented to Roy (Cooper) & Valarie ( Meyer) was found at a garage sale in New Jersey by one of the members of our genealogy society. There were newspaper clippings about the death of Mrs. Albert Meyer and a family reunion that mentions Mrs. Meyer's brother Mr. Wm. Umland of Fort Dodge.
The genealogy society wants to give the Bible and the newspaper clippings to a family member.

Thank you for your time and help in this matter.

Sincerely,
Mary-Jo Solomon

William Engel's wife
I found William Engel in Crystal Cemetery. Beside him is Elva (1886-1938). I am fulfilling your request for William and if you make a page for Elva, I will add photo for her.

You had requested any photos of Engels at this cemetery and there are quite a few. The first set I took was for Adolph.. (father) I also took photos for his wife Christina and a possible son Charles.. also two small children. one is May dau of A & C and a son couldn't make out the name but does say son of A & C.
Then I got Peter and his wife Anna
Katie & Alvina

There is another great group for Oliver and his wife Maurine, James & Katherine somehow I missed taking the photo of Robert & Elizabeth.. but there is a very interesting stone that tells the history of the first Engels in the area... Adolph & Christina.. I will post that on Adloph's memorial page. Not all are on find a grave but if they are I will post the photos for them also.

Thanks for transferring the site.

In case you are interested, I added info and additional documentation to John Taplin's gravesite, provided by my 2nd cousin Laurie Moulton.

RE: Hepsibah Taplin
Sorry for the mix-up! I actually realized my mistake--after I had already posted the picture! Thanks for setting up the memorial for Hepsibah Brigham Taplin. I added the photos to the correct Hepsibah.

Hepsibah Taplin
Hi! I saw that you are looking for a picture of the headstone for Hepsibah Taplin (in the Corinth Center Cemetery). We were just at the Corinth Center Cemetery and took a picture of Hepsibah Taplin's gravestone, wife of Col. John Taplin. I'm not sure if it is the same Hepsibah you are looking for (the dates on this webiste are different).

My relative, Hepsibah Brigham Taplin (wife of Col. John) is buried in the Corinth Center Cemetery. The inscription on the headstone is: "In memory of Mrs. Hepzibah widow of Col. John Taplin who died December 27th 1815 in her 84th year."

If this is the Hepsibah Taplin you are looking for, I would be happy to post/send the picture I took. I also took a picture of Col. John's headstone.
